STARR is an acronym for Speed, Technique, Agility, Reaction and Rating.  Each athlete competing in The Treece Advantage Combines will receive a composite score based on how an athlete performs in testing and in individual drills and competition.  The main components used to determine a score are the 40 yard dash, vertical Jump, shuttle, agility drills and one on one competition drills.  This rating will also help determine if an athlete will receive an invitation to The Great 38 Camps where they will compete against previous camp award winners and invitees. Please note that one bad score in any of the 5 scoring components doesn’t necessarily mean an athlete will not score high.
